Communitech is a network of organizations. Most of our members are technology companies or organizations that are interested in supporting technology companies.
If your organization is a member of the Communitech network, then you’re automagically a member of Communitech. And that’s the same as it being your birthday every day.

The Communitech Hub is not our version of trivial pursuit. It’s part of a renovated 19th-century tannery that mixes startups, enterprise companies, students, resesarchers and service providers in a big ‘ole innovation gumbo.
Do gumbo and tannery belong in the same sentence? No, they don’t.
The Communitech Hub is one of many regional nodes on the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN), and also its headquarters. Communitech created CDMN, but it carries the flag for marching Canada toward a brighter digital future. We just wish it would write more often. They grow up so fast.
Our venture services program works with hundreds of startups, not just those in the Accelerator Centre or the Communitech Hub. Each and every startup gets a coach. In the past year we logged more than 7,000 hours of coaching with startups, and heard “Show Me the Money!!!” 20 billion times.
Communitech and the Accelerator Centre work together to decide which startups are accepted as tenants in either facility. They run joint mentoring programs, but do not inhale.
Our 30+ peer2peer groups and related events make us North America’s largest peer learning network. You can’t imagine how much coffee we go through.
We have a few marketers, two events people, one digital damme, six Executives-in-Residence, a recruiting director, and a peer2peer traffic cop. We are few in number, but giant in spirit.
