Convergence features five site-specific installations at The Hub by
artists Soheila Esfahani, Gareth Litchy, Ed Pien,  Ryan Price and Johannes
Zits. The exhibition takes viewers on a voyage to examine and investigate the
value of art integration in the work place. Using a variety of common and
obscure spaces artists have cleverly challenged viewers to re-evaluate their
personal preconceptions of how art should be presented and viewed.

Each installation will re-define the understanding of what constitutes a sense
of place and how one engages with visual elements in a non-traditional
exhibition venue. It is hoped that these site-specific works will serve as a
catalyst to generate internal and external community dialogue and debate on the
value of art in our daily lives.

I would like to sincerely thank The Communitech Hub for their willingness to
collaborate in this initiative to foster creative thinking within our community.
A special thank you to Christie Digital, our exhibition sponsor, for supporting
our artistic vision. And to Kathe Gray designer extraordinaire and Jennifer
Bedford our photographic genius.

Lastly, I extend my sincere gratitude to Soheila Esfahani, Gareth Litchy, Ed
Pien,  Ryan Price and Johannes Zits for their dedication, enthusiasm and great
willingness to join me on this journey.

This project was supported by the Ontario Arts Council, Visual and Media Arts Projects Grant, without their financial support this exhibition could not have come to fruition – my continued thanks and appreciation.
