The mission of the Canadian Digital Media Network is to accelerate Canada’s digital economy.
CDMN will encourage job creation and increase global competitiveness by linking Canada’s leading digital media centres with industry, government and academia.
The CDMN is comprised of acceleration centres, commercialization hubs and development centres across Canada. CDMN works to connect these key digital media ‘nodes’, helping them communicate, collaborate and share their unique strengths.
Together, we’ll create more competitive companies, more jobs, and more wealth.
The CDMN will enable commercialization by connecting digital media interests across the country and internationally.

Leading by example: the Communitech HUB
CDMN is headquartered in the new Communitech HUB. In addition to state-of-the-art facilities, the HUB brings digital startups, top-tier enterprise and supporting service organizations together under one roof. It’s a sandbox made up of ones and zeros.
The HUB’s promise reflects CDMN’s national mandate: to build relationships, commercialize ideas, strengthen companies and help build Canada’s digital tomorrow.
Encouraging a National Digital Media Discussion
A critical component of CDMN activities is the annual Canada 3.0 Forum. Billed as Canada’s premier digital media event, the Forum attracts more than 2,000 passionate Canadians to debate and strategize on the future of digital media.
