Ted Hastings, President & CEO, Tsavo Media, President, Cyberplex
Ted Hastings joined Tsavo Media in October 2007 from Geosign, where he served as President. Prior to Geosign, Hastings was CEO of GBG (Global Beverage Group). During his five years at GBG, Hastings led the acquisition of nine direct competitors, increasing revenue ten-fold during his tenure. Prior to GBG, Hastings spent five years at Deloitte & Touche, during which time he earned CA and CPA designations.

Steve McCartney, Principal, Tequity
Prior to joining Tequity he was the CEO of Atria Networks LP, which owns and operates one of the largest fibre-optic networks in Ontario. During his tenure with Atria Steve successfully led the company through a rapid expansion which included numerous acquisitions. A Chartered Director (C.Dir.) Steve has considerable expertise on the boards of public, private and not-for profit organizations, and his advice is actively sought by executives at a strategic crossroad.

Kevin Tribe, Managing Director, Tequity
Kevin brings 30 years of hands-on experience working in North American software, hardware and professional services organizations. He's worked with multi-nationals, mid-sized firms and has been the President and CEO of several software companies. Having successfully completed acquisitions for the larger firms he worked with, he used those skills to buy 3 companies in his own software firm, and then successfully sold the company to a publicly traded firm in 2003. Since that time he has invested in his own firm, using his experience in helping other entrepreneurs and boards of directors with their personal and corporate strategies with strategic acquisitions and sales. Kevin has assisted dozens of CEOs and Shareholder groups achieve their personal and business objectives, whether to finance, sell, acquire, or merge with strategic partners. Kevin is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business, Chairman of the York Technology Association, an active member in a variety of tech related associations and a board member of several tech related firms. |

Jen writes a column on business and technology for PCworld.ca and was a contributor to the Globe and Mail's online tech edition for seven years. Jen has been talking tech on BNN (formerly Report on Business Television) since 1999, and appears in the Technology in the Workplace segment on Workopolis.tv. |

Dr. H. Douglas Barber, O.C., Ph.D., D.Sc., FCAE, P.Eng., Distinguished Professor-in-Residence, McMaster University
Dr. Barber has authored 29 refereed papers and several patents. He speaks frequently on business, technology, learning, innovation and economic development. He was one of the founders of Linear Technology Inc., now known as Gennum Corporation, which designs, manufactures and markets microcircuits. Dr. Barber has received numerous awards including three honorary doctorates that honor his engineering and entrepreneurial achievements. The most recent honor an appointment as Officer of the Order of Canada, as well as recently receiving an Honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of Saskatchewan. He was a director of DALSA Inc. from 2005 to 2008, NetAccess Systems Inc. since 1994 to 2009. He also is presently a director of Micralyne since 1997, AllerGen NCE Inc. since 2003, and The Institute of Quantum Computing since 2006. In 2009 Dr. Barber joined the Boards of the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization, the Centre for Surgical Innovation and Invention and the IRAP Advisory Board. |

Jeff Fedor, Co-founder, ParkVu
Jeff is the founder of several startups. He focuses both on technical leadership as well as product strategy. Currently he is the co-CEO of ParkVu Inc and serves as a Director of Covarity Inc. Most recently, Jeff provided consulting services to AideRSS where he focussed on product strategy and product management. At AideRSS, he developed and managed relationships with strategic partners such as Lijit and Newsgator. Jeff also led the design and successful launch of the AideRSS GoogleReader Extension. Prior to consulting for AideRSS, Jeff served as VP of Primal Fusion (formerly Terapath, Inc.) providing leadership and management for the Program Management (Product Management, Architecture, Network Operations and User Experience) and Development teams for a stealth mode startup. He was Founder, CTO and CSO of Covarity, a commercial loan monitoring SaaS offering as well as founder and CTO of Ardesic Corporation, a CRM provider acquired by iMedium in 2001. Throughout his career Jeff has contributed to many XML standards bodies and was both Vice-Chair and Chair of the XBRL GL International Working Group. In addition, he was a representative of the inaugural XBRL Standards Board. |
