Enable-U Event attracts attendees from across North America

Inclusion, support and knowledge-sharing have been key values in the success of Waterloo Region’s tech community: values that Communitech, MaRS Discovery District and the National Research Council of Canada are proud to share as they bring technology associations from across North America together for the now sold-out Enable-U event.

MaRS Discovery District Over 90 people from organizations as far away as British Columbia, Connecticut, Illinois, and Pennsylvania will converge on Waterloo on March 23-34 for two days of how-to workshops on building tech ecosystems, cultivating silicon economies and the old-fashioned art of blending handshakes, encouragement and expertise.

National Resource CouncilSponsors for the event include Communitech, The Accelerator Centre, MaRS Discovery District, the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), and the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA).   Thanks partners!

Building a ‘Community of Communities’

Success stories and lessons learned from across the continent will be shared, including the ingredients of Communitech’s own ‘secret sauce’; a formula that seen it grow from 50 members to over 700 in 13 years while developing an infrastructure that connects growing organizations to expertise via its Executive-in-Residence (EIR) program.

Shared success is good for everyone in the broader tech community throughout North America, and Enable U’s sponsors are committed giving each and every EnableU attendee a ‘Tech Ecosystem MBA’ to bring back home.
