CDMN Soft Landing Program

Take your company international

Communitech startups looking to expand their business into global markets can apply to the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN) Soft Landing program to gain exposure to—and funding for—business opportunities around the world.

Successful candidates will receive up to $4,000 CAD in reimbursable expenses to help offset transportation and accommodation costs while also receiving reimbursement for in-market coworking expenses.

Is the Soft Landing program right for you?

Revenue-generating Canadian tech startups and scale-ups looking to grow their customer base, open a satellite office, develop distribution channels or partnerships or secure investment abroad are strong candidates for this program. The program does not support travel for events, conferences, programs, trade shows or trade missions.

Since the program was launched in 2012, CDMN has helped 863 Canadian companies expand into 63 countries. CDMN Soft Landing alumni have generated more than $94.9 million in net new revenue, secured over $112.6 million in investment and created over 320 jobs.

To receive notifications of all future calls for applications, follow CDMN on Twitter (@CDMN) or visit softlanding.cdmn.ca.

In light of the changing dynamics around the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada and around the world, CDMN has made the decision to close applications for the next Soft Landing Program cohort. For more information, please see the full update.
