Design Thinking was created about 20 years ago to help designers better understand their customers. Fast forward to 2019 and Design Thinking is one of the hottest trends in design, business and technology. Our two-day bootcamp will introduce you to the fundamentals of Design Thinking using a real world case study. You will experience a design thinking five step process to help you better understand the customer, uncover problems worth solving, and prototype and test possible solutions quickly. Communitech and the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship at Ryerson University have created a research report to better understand the talent and skills components of specific in-demand careers inside Ontario tech companies, as well as the different job pathways that workers travel to enter and navigate between companies in the region.
