KITCHENER, ON, February 18, 2021. O2 Industries, a leading manufacturer of reusable respirators, will be donating 5,000 of their O2 Curves to frontline workers across Canada as part of their #BetterBlue Campaign. O2 worked in tandem with their e-commerce marketing and media agency, P3 Media, who donated development hours to bring this campaign to life.

Since the company’s very first donation to those impacted by the Kamloops, B.C. wildfires in 2017, charitable contributions and their desire to help others has been deeply rooted in the company’s core values. To date, O2 has donated over 12,500 respirators, and now, with the unprecedented global demand for respiratory protection causing PPE shortages, O2 is stepping in to help with respiratory protection.

“We’re fortunate to be in a position to help,” said Rich Szasz, CEO of O2 Industries. “Two of our core values are empathy and gratitude, and our #BetterBlue campaign truly embodies that. We know the struggles of our loved frontline workers and cannot thank them enough for keeping us all safe and fighting the good fight.”

The frontline worker package includes O2 Curve, a surgical mask adapter, ear-loop straps, and a blue shell.

Donations will be given to the medical, first responder, and military verticals, with the ask that they verify their frontline status (with an ID badge or other form of proof). If you know of a Canadian frontline worker in need of a respirator further details can be found on O2's website
