On February 11, Open Data Exchange (ODX) and Deloitte will present an invitation-only Insight Driven Organizations Lab held at OpenText.

Business strategy should be grounded in good data. However, it can be difficult to know where to start. How can you use data to anticipate your market, adjust your products and plan your strategy? This hands-on, half-day workshop explains how to leverage data, inside and outside an organization, to gain fresh insights on where the business needs to go. We’ll focus on what building blocks are required and what investments are needed to organize and mobilize a data and analytics strategy to become an insight-driven organization.

Learning outcomes include:

    1. Understand the importance of becoming an Insight Driven Organization (IDO) and what it means for your individual organization.
    2. Assess where your organization stands in its analytics maturity and understand your position relative to best-in-class organizations.
    3. Learn the building blocks to becoming an IDO.
    4. Determine where data can generate value for a company in general and where the best opportunities for your company lie.
    5. Develop a proof of concept (POC) wish-list that is aligned to business challenges you face.
    6. Understand best practices for prioritizing POCs.
    7. Understand important criteria to consider and tools to use in creating a 30/60/90 day roadmap for becoming an IDO. You will leave with a draft roadmap that can be used for more detailed discussion when you get back to the office.

Facilitated by Tom Peters, Ph.D.,? Partner, Deloitte Strategic Analytics & Modelling and Judith van de Pas, CMP, Director, Deloitte Analytics Integrated Market Offerings, this workshop is tailored to senior leaders at growth-stage small and mid-sized companies who are or may become responsible for their company’s analytics strategy.
