Data Growth Coaching Updates
It’s now been almost a full quarter since the launch of our Data Growth Coach program. We’re very excited to be helping our clients around Ontario at all different stages of their data journeys with their data acquisition, engineering, and science needs. So, what exactly have our coaches been up to? For many of us, planning is the first step in utilizing organizational information. So naturally, 23.1% of our coaching requests were focused on data strategy development. We’ve been compiling frequently asked questions around this topic, and we hope to release a guidebook for conducting data inventories soon (note: a data inventory is basically a comprehensive “important” data list)!
Other coaching appointments focus more on the issues around model development / selection, or the uphill battles of production deployment and scaling. To date, we’ve been working on an even split between data engineering and data science requests, most of which have revolved around NLP-related modeling or reviews of data architecture and pipelines to ensure scalability.
