With March Break winding down, and not-to-mention losing an hour of productiveness (or sleep), it has been a busy week. Some of you may have been lucky enough to get away for a bit, so we’ll catch you up. And even if you didn’t find yourself on vacation, we’ll highlight the best-of-the-best this week that made us feel a little bit better about not getting away.

A few big things happened this week, including Beyonce and Sheryl Sandburg joining forces to “#banbossy,” and the World Wide Web celebrating its 25th birthday.

Leadership can be challenging and rewarding, but at what cost? Powerful women who embody success highlight the risk many women take in society in this video campaign to “#BanBossy.” These women, including Beyoncé, Sheryl Sandberg and Jenifer Garner, are advocating for young girls and women in any profession to persevere despite the stereotypes they might be labeled. While the “#BanBossy” campaign made a call to action to encourage young girls to not be afraid to accept their extrovert-ness and speak their minds, this article in The Atlantic makes an excellent point to remind us that there’s a lot to be said for the introverts, and not all good leaders are bossy.

Guy Kawasaki, author and former chief evangelist of Apple and special advisor to the Motorola business unit of Google, gives 11 tips to mastering the art of innovation in this TEDxBerkeley talk. Via LinkedIn.
