The CDMN Outbound Soft Landing program is accepting applications from qualified companies from Monday, Nov. 10 until Wednesday, Nov. 26. The program provides up to 15 Canadian small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with entry into a new market for up to three months.

As a network hub member, Communitech companies are invited to apply. Companies will be evaluated based on several criteria, including whether they have generated revenue in the past six to 12 months, the stage of their business or product, and the viability of the goals and objectives they outline for their desired landing abroad.

Companies benefit from key contact introductions, working space and regional support to help open new markets, close international sales or connect with new partners. The program also provides up to $4,000 in travel support, and covers the costs associated with working at a partnered accelerator or co-working space. Departures begin Jan. 1, 2015.

Launched in 2012, the program has resulted in 119 companies landing in 20 foreign markets. More than $16 million in investment opportunities have been identified and $25 million in new revenue generated as result of the program.
