In November 2011, the Laurier Innovation and Technology Club (LiTC) hosted its first Entrepreneur’s Exchange. The event brought together 150 startups, students, business and community leaders and featured five entrepreneurs who each gave a TED-style talk on their entrepreneurial journeys.

This Monday, Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m., LiTC will kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012 by bringing the Entrepreneur’s Exchange back for its second edition, at the Tannery Event Space in the Communitech Hub. For the second year in a row, the community’s innovators and entrepreneurs will gather to connect, exchange ideas and become inspired.

This year LiTC is thrilled to present two incredible speakers and proud Laurier alumni: Jackie Lee, an angel investor and CEO of Recruit My Friends, a leader in engineering recruiting; and the keynote, Ian Troop, CEO of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, which will be one of the largest events in Canadian history. Ian was also a vice-president at Procter and Gamble and served as President International at ConAgra Foods.

There will be plenty of time after the talks for attendees to network, rub shoulders or meet potential startup co-founders. Complimentary appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

If you would like to be at the event to connect with Waterloo Region’s top future and current innovators and entrepreneurs, register here while spaces are available.
